Family Support Worker

Winsford High Street Community Primary School is a thriving, welcoming three form entry Local Authority maintained primary school judged as “Good” by Ofsted in February 2023. 

Working closely with our SENCO, Safeguarding Officers and Senior Leadership Team the successful candidate will:

• provide targeted support for vulnerable families identified within the school, liaising with other agencies and professionals where appropriate
• provide targeted support for groups of pupils with barriers to learning
• be proactive in developing and running a range of support
  and engagement; opportunities, including groups and courses, for parents and families
• act as lead professional worker for identified families/children,
  and
• support the school’s work on improving attendance

Please note that the position is term time only for 34 hours per week although additional hours may be required. The salary quoted above is based on a full-time position.
