Caretaker with Cleaning Responsibilities

Full time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary £26,016 per annum

Trustees and Governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified person to assist the Premises Manager in the day-to-day management and maintenance of the Academy premises.  Maintaining the security of the premises and its contents; including being a registered key holder. The successful candidate will undertake minor repairs, painting etc. porterage, Fire Marshall duties and other maintenance tasks, including cleaning of designated areas and monitoring the cleaning carried out by other staff.

Standard hours of work will be 11.30am-7.30pm Monday to Thursday and 12.00 noon-7.30pm Friday, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch. Some flexibility during school holidays will be considered.

As an Academy we are committed to developing our staff and this will include completion of a certificated First Aid at Work course.
