At Frodsham Manor House Primary School, we are proud to be a welcoming, ambitious and nurturing school at the heart of our community. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team and help bring our vision to life:

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside skilled and caring colleagues who are committed to providing an inclusive education where every child can flourish. Whether supporting a child with additional needs, leading small-group interventions or helping pupils build confidence in the classroom, you will play a vital role in shaping children's learning and wellbeing.

  • Has experience working with primary-aged children, including those with additional needs.
  • Champions inclusion and believes every child can succeed.
  • Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Is organised, adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Brings energy, enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to making a difference.

About the Role

Initially, this position is offered on a temporary contract for the academic year 2026-2027, with a review at the end of the year.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide classroom-based support.
  • Work with children on the SEND Register.
  • Deliver targeted intervention programmes.
  • Support high-quality teaching and learning across the class.
