NJC Grade 7: FTE £31,537 to £34,434 (this is subject to pro rata)
Actual Pay £28,606 TO £31,234
PERMANENT/TERM TIME + 2 WEEKS (41 WEEKS) 37 HOURS PER WEEK

The Governors of Ruskin Community High School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and organised Education Family Support Worker to join the experienced team at Ruskin.
This role supports students, families and the school to ensure they can reach their full education potential. The role is key to students’ welfare at Ruskin Community High School, supporting with safeguarding, attendance and mental health and wellbeing. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues, parents/carers and external agencies, lead on Targeted Family Help plans and attend Child in Need and Child Protection meetings where appropriate. Home visits will be expected of the successful candidate, to support attendance and welfare.
We are looking for skills to include team working, diplomacy, tact, negotiation, organisation whilst also possessing a good sense of humour.
